Surgical drills

Drills are surgical instruments designed to drill the bone to a certain diameter and depth depending on the size of the implant to be placed. They are divided into four groups according to the function of each type of drill:

  • -Lance-shaped drill: pointed drill designed to break the cortical bone.
  • -Pilot drill: drill to deepen and direct the drilling sequence.
  • -Guide drill: dual diameter drill that will serve to guide the ø2.80 mm drill.
  • -Twist drills: drills to adjust the diameter and depth of the implant housing.

 Key features

  • Externally cooled drills machined in high quality stainless steel.
  • Surface treatment to increase wear resistance and for easy cleaning.
  • Simple and effective cleaning and maintenance, without the drill darkening after use.
  • Sharp angles designed to maximize cutting power at low rpm.
