On May 8th and 9th, the second module on Digital Planning and Guided Surgery took place, taught by Dr. Ana Boquete at her Comprehensive Dental Clinic in Almería and sponsored by GMI.
Students learned to design osteotomy guides and plan edentulous cases. They also observed the complete process of printing study models and surgical guides. Practical guided surgery workshops were then conducted using these models.
Finally, they also witnessed a live guided surgery on a patient and learned about intraoral photogrammetry and its workflow using the Shining Elite system.
