GMI® Implant Protect is a product formed via sol-gel reaction, sold in liquid state, which is applied after mechanical (non-surgical) treatment of mucositis or early periimplantitis.
After application, it forms a temporary protective layer (less than 30 days) on the surface of dental implants, based on a three-dimensional silicon network that adheres to the dental implant surface.
This coating acts as a protective physical barrier, isolating the application area and contributing to its protection.

After the application, the liquid converts in situ into a thin, adherent coating on the implant surface:
