Following the first stage of surgery and therefore after implant osseointegration achieved, the multi-esthetic abutment (MEA) is used, that is defined as the machined attachment that, after being attached to the crown of the implant, serves as a support for a multiple restoration, thus decreasing the height between the implant connection and the structure connection, and providing a passive adjustment of the structure.
