On the 15th, our CEO, José Luis Manglano, attended the awards ceremony organized by Jaume I University of Castellón on behalf of GMI.
At this event, collaborating companies were recognized for their contributions to various university research projects, including our company. Companies such as CaixaBank, Banco Santander, Porcelanosa, and Pamesa, among others, also received recognition. Currently, the program has 88 active member companies and institutions.
The Rector, Eva Alcón, emphasized that the recognition of collaborating entities « is proof that the ties between university, business, and institutional ecosystems, with seemingly different realities, are not only compatible but also capable of mutual understanding, becoming, beyond mere technology transfer, co-producers of solutions with social impact. » In this regard, he affirmed that this collaboration « allows the university to conduct better research, adapting to the responses demanded by society, enabling companies to acquire talent and count on the university as a strategic partner in innovation projects that will help them consolidate their competitive position. »
At GMI, we thank Jaume I University for this recognition and will continue to promote joint initiatives that contribute to the advancement of knowledge and the development of innovative solutions.
