Last Tuesday, September 8th, we had the opportunity to present Implant Protect at the University of Barcelona (UB), led by Dr. Marta García, to students of the Master’s Program in Implantology and Periodontics.
During the session, Implant Protect was presented, explaining its main characteristics and uses, as well as the protocol and application procedure for different cases of peri-implantitis.
The session also included a practical component, in which students were able to simulate the treatment of non-surgical peri-implantitis. Using a resin model, Implant Protect was applied to several implants affected by peri-implantitis, allowing students to learn the simple application procedure firsthand.
This was a very interesting experience for introducing future professionals to the new solutions that GMI offers in the world of implantology, in this case with Implant Protect.
