GMI bone compression kit consists of an autoclavable case made of high strength resin, containing all the necessary to increase implant’s primary stability in type III and type IV low density bones, as well as to improve the treatment at the moment to perform the sinus lifting.
Key features:
Dimensions table
Bone compactors have mechanical marks in the bigger diameter allowing to make an easy selection of the component (1, 2, 3, and 4 marks) and depth laser marks with 6.5, 8, 10, 11.5 and 13 mm implant length (see Figure 1):
Cleaning and Sterilization
1. Cleaning – Removal of organic material should be performed in an ultrasound basin starting at 24.000 Hz, using enzyme soap (at least 3 enzymes) at the dilution recommended by the manufacturer. Wash with running water and perform a visual check to detect the presence of waste. If positive, repeat the process and should it persist, eliminate by mechanical cleaning. The sterilizations boxes must be cleaned before each use.
2. Conditioning for sterilization – Condition the product on a surgical grade compatible size paper envelope.
3. Moist heat sterilization – shall be conducted in an autoclave without exceeding the maximum values set: 134ºC, 20 minutes, 2.2 bar. Warning – For the sterilization procedure, carefully follow the recommendations in the instruction manual of the autoclave manufacturer.
4. Product life – The useful life of the box will depend on the treatment received during its use.
5. Important notes:
GMI drill stop kits consist of an autoclavable technical polymer box with a sliding lid, where the drill stop range for different drill diameters (L1, L2 & L3) are arranged in a simple way to place implants with lenghts between 6.5 and 13 mm. The kits design allow drill stops to be inserted directly on the drill from its housing in the box. Moreover, the kits include the drill stop removal tool as well as a ruler to check the mounted drill stop depth.
Frontier/Avantgard drill kit consists of an autoclavable case made of high strength resin, that allows to complement the PEAK surgical kit by easily extending its use for the placement of 2 additional implant systems.
2 kits for 4 implant systems (Frontier – Avantgard – Frontier PEAK – Avantgard PEAK).
